3. How the Technology Works
Age Guesser uses advanced deep learning models that have been compiled to run directly in your web browser via ONNX Runtime (WebAssembly). When you provide an image for age estimation:
- The AI model is downloaded once and cached by your browser (like any other website asset).
- Your image is processed locally using your device's computational resources.
- The age estimation result is generated on your device and displayed in your browser.
- At no point during this process does any data leave your device or get transmitted over the internet.
This architecture ensures that your photos and results remain completely private. Even we, as the developers, have no technical ability to access your images or results.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Age Guesser does not use any cookies — not session cookies, not persistent cookies, and not third-party cookies. We do not use any tracking technologies, analytics services, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting techniques. There are no third-party scripts loaded that could track your activity.
5. Data Storage
We do not store any user data — neither locally on your device (via localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB) nor remotely on any server. The only data your browser may cache are the static application files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the AI model, which is standard browser caching behavior for any website. You can clear this cache at any time through your browser settings.
6. Third-Party Services
Age Guesser does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services. There are no analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics), no advertising networks, no social media plugins, and no external APIs called during the use of our service. The AI model runs entirely within your browser without any external communication.
7. Children's Privacy
Age Guesser is designed for entertainment purposes and is suitable for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information from any user, we are inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide. No data about children (or any other users) is collected, stored, or processed on our servers.
